Our two wings of accommodations for dogs, Big Bear Suites and Black Fox Suites, derive their names from Cherokee Indian chiefs. Centered between each wing is The Courtyard, with a nature walk meandering among native East Tennessee trees and plants, highlighted by Crawford Falls. Within Big Bear and Black Fox wings, our accommodations are private, heated, air conditioned, indoor suites.
Hand-painted wall murals surround our guests with the beauty of the mountains of East Tennessee. Each Kottage features its own color television, raised bed with fleece cover, and elevated food and water dishes. Selected suites have handcrafted Mission-style beds with hand-made quilts, along with a view of The Courtyard. Our Bungalows are twice the size of the Kottages and are equipped with a web cam, allowing you to visit us 24 hours a day.
Our luxury accommodations assure not only your dog's comfort, but also the health and safety of our guests. The floors in all Kottages and Bungalows are the same material used in hospitals to allow complete sanitation and provide a comfortable, non-slip surface. Each suite has a heated floor with individual thermostat control, especially important for older guests with arthritic joints.
Dream Katcher Lodge is equipped with an Ultraviolet Air Treatment System that will minimize the transfer of air-borne bacteria and prevent mold and other allergens.
